The convention is over, and the ashcans are gone. Phew. The response was great, and we were surprised that folks even recognized the book.

We were able to get the pitch into the hands of a lot of people we respect.

Finally getting around to making some basic changes with the site.

Hopefully this place will start making a little more sense. Or even less.

Either way, I count this as progress.

Also, I’ve started a sister workblog over on Panel and Pixel, which is where all the cool kids hang out. I’m not cool enough to be in their group, but they do let me feed on their table scraps, which means they’re good people. In all seriousness, if you want to learn comics, head over there.

If things have seemed slow, we’ve had a simultaneous breakdown of nearly all computers involved in this project.

I blame myspace. I’m not sure why, but I’m pretty sure it’s responsible for all computer-related problems in our world.

Myspace. Just look at it in the corner there. Causing problems.

Computers: fixed. Progress: progressing.

You can tell they’re not the good guys by the way they get blown up.

The pitch is progressing nicely, page six pencils are complete, and we’ve got some very talented folks lined up to take on the ink, color, and lettering duties.

This is shaping up to be fantastic.
